Let It Snow, John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle
“Christmas is never over, unless you want it to be… Christmas is a state of mind.”– Lauren Myracle, The Patron Saint of Pigs, Let It Snow
Welcome to day 10 of my 12 Reads of Christmas series, where I’m posting the things I like to read over the festive period every day from Christmas Day until Twelfth Night (6 January).
Today’s book is Let It Snow which is a compilation of 3 holiday romance novellas; The Jubilee Express, Maureen Johnson, A Cheertastic Christmas Miracle, John Green, The Patron Saint of Pigs, Lauren Myracle.
The 3 authors are giants of YA publishing and I first enjoyed this way back in the John Green hype of 2013.
This collection is touching, festive, and funny – Perfect for any time you feel like you need a little bit of snow in your life.
Side note: contrary to what the last 3 posts would imply, I actually rarely read short stories or novellas. Anything shorter than about 300 pages usually really irritates me (Agatha Christie is the one exception to this). But, I’ve realised that novellas and short stories are excellent for banking titles on a Goodreads challenge so…😂.
