12 Reads of Christmas 2019: Day 11

Willow At Christmas, Camilla Ashforth

Welcome to day 11 of my 12 Reads of Christmas series, where I’m posting the things I like to read over the festive period every day from Christmas Day until Twelfth Night (6 January).

Willow At Christmas is one of my favourite childhood books. There are 3 Willow books in total (which I, of course, have) and they are all such adorable little stories.

What I really like about these books, and Willow At Christmas in particular, is the stunning watercolour illustrations. This is the reason I will treasure these books and keep them for my children and grandchildren, if I have any.

This book also brings up memories with my Grandma as they are books she found from somewhere and she is also a major reason that I am such a bookworm now. You can pick them up online now for less than a fiver, which I think you should all do because they are such a beautiful addition to any bookshelf.
