12 Reads of Christmas 2019: Day 12

Winnie the Pooh, A.A Milne

“But wherever they go, and whatever happens to them on the way, in that enchanted place on the top of the Forest, a little boy and his Bear will always be playing.”

– A.A Milne, The House at Pooh Corner

Welcome to the final day! Day 12 of my 12 Reads of Christmas series, where I’m posting the things I like to read over the festive period every day from Christmas Day until Twelfth Night (6 January).

I’m finishing this festive series with the best Christmas present I have ever received. I learnt to read with Winnie the Pooh easy-readers when I was tiny. My Auntie and Uncle gave me this book for Christmas when I was 6-years-old (which I happily read all the time by myself at that point) and it then became my ‘bedtime storybook’ for years and years later with my dad.

Whether you enjoy the books, the Disney films, or any other medium of Winnie the Pooh, just enjoy it any way you can.

A.A Milne and Pooh Bear fill my heart just as much now as they did when I was little.

Silly old bear
